Be a shame to break a S2000 though lol!

Would be a very intresting engine to use. You would need a 6 speed box to get the full potential out of it.

Lets face it any small Pug would make a fine Rally car.

But for me I would love to do a Rally in a RS200.

I think the Honda V-Tech Engines rotate in the opposite direction to normal engines. So apparently it's a dose to retro fit them to anything that's not a honda.
Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.

True, but it means you have to heep the honda box and diff (LSD as standard) 9.5K standard rev limit IIRC.

And its VTEC, massivly clipped down from Variable valve Timing and lift, Electronic Control.

I think there was a vid posted a while back of a S2000 converted E36 in japan.

Yeah but that was my point. Changing the diff aswell makes a ton more work. I'm no expert on swapping the diff with something new. But I do know that the standard e30 Diffs are a bit of a pain to change out sometimes. I've done a few

There's a guy building one on E30owners.com. He's put 20valve levin engines into Charmants, 4AGZE engines into DX's and TT engines into MK1 Golfs etc. so should be an interesting build.

Friend of mine in Bedford had one in red. Ironically he sold me my 1st e30!

Thing is, I'm so happy with my Alpina M20eta I would want the same again. 195bhp a very balanced engine and great power delivery.

There was a large amount of M-Power stuff.

The Halfords I was in is by 3 main chavy estates and they can't get enough of the shite on their Saxos and Corsa's. There was a very taky M3 ACS e36 look alike there too. I never take the Alpina there any more as it causes too much attention with people who think Burberry and a Argis Soviern ring are the high of fashion. Saying that my Puma has got dodge viper stripes on it too LOL.

I like some Halfords stuff, they stock good oil, glues, wiperblades are good and I love their Acid face air fresheners!

From what I've been told S2000 engines rotate the correct way, it's the FWD VTEC engines that don't.

Felix79 wrote:I just had a funny thought.

Would you say Civic owners would fall with in the group of loving Halfords?

I was in there today getting some bits I needed and while I was killing some time I took a gander round and saw the badges section. Low and Behold you could buy a ton o stuff to make a normal Civic or any Honda have the "Type-R" badge and the red Honda badges. What do people think the chances were this was a guttless Civic giving the burberry Halfords effect?

When you think about it, if a young lad is behind the wheel and is thrashing it no doubt he can't affaord the real deal or the insurance? I'm remember the Civic being a heavy car ( like most modern cars are tbh ) and I bet they is a range of utter guttless povity spec engines you could have?
Well, I'm young (21) but I can afford to both run and insure a CTR.

And I would hope people wouldn't associate me with the Halfords lot, all I go in there for is car cleaning equipment! (megs stuff)

There was an S2000 powered 2dr E30 at the zone track day at Abindon back in Feb.

It went well but didn't pass my old S50.

Sticking an iS badge on an non-iS would be a crueler thing to do than pouring nitromoors over it.

It never breaks, it just rattles or vibrates a bit. Even if I filled the vanos unit with concrete it would be quicker than an iS, id even go as far to say I could remove a cam and go faster :P

 bob... too true mate... the i.s is laughable that much is evident but shitvics are even funnier in my book even more so than v-tec.
the vanos issues are way overblown, i had mine tested(the solenoid) and its a ok and quiet too! my next purchase will be a dirty six m3 because i love eating rice(in standard tune) dont get me wrong the 328 is ok and i will perform the manifold swap to yield a few extra horses, as a matter of fact i got my phone out on the way home, the road was quiet so i came to a stand still, i found the stopwatch and proceeded time the car from zero to sixty(60mph limit) i started the clock from the moment i pulled away(with a tiny bit of wheel spin) to the moment the needle touched sixty... it was 7 seconds dead. . im quite happy with that.
