Nothing wrong with tech II, I think they look great, AC Shnitzer alloys look the part too. It just frustrates me how this is the 325i sport techII zone.
( yes 1000 posts not bad considering I had 90 carried over from the old runboard site

Do you live in the centre dude? Perhaps next time I'm over we could meet for some e30 chat?
Not extreme centre, but about a 10 minute bike ride away. Let me know when you're over next, I've never met a real live zoner before!

"Tis Alpina blue but the car was dusty and flash inside a dark showroom spoils the pic. In the flesh it's very nice - it's the best one I've seen.

Lovely 2.8 M30 engine. Note the Motronic (all E24 / E23 / E28 2.8's came on LE Jetronic) and the front strut reinforcement plates - similar to the Convertible but they didn't arrive until mid-late 1985.

No, I wish. It belonged to a guy in Holland with a very nice collection including a B6S 3.5 bought from Pacerpete 10 years ago.
I will try to get a pic of it all cleaned up - these pics don't do it justice.

Isn't it just. That's why I keep nagging Simon13 to colour change his from Dullmond black to 'Pina blue. It's such a gorgeous colour. Even the engine bay looks nice.

Thought of the day for chrome fans: Orange indicators are best.
(clear ones can look good on facelift cars, but I have realised how much better my car looks with the originals - so it's now de-councilled in that respect anyway!)
& that 'pina is gorgeous!

White indicators are for modern cars and councilled up E38's (most of them then).
A white Chromer with white indicators would look like it had the Flu.

They're ok on for example a red facelift car, but don't work with chrome. I had smoked fronts (to match the black bit of the bumper), red rears & clear sides. But what's wrong with a bit of colour FFS?! Can't believe it took me so long to see the light. I'll post a before/after pic at the weekend - looks so much more classy now.
Period mods are where it's at...
Still lovin your car btw Dom!

Are these welcome in the chrome section do we think? Or does the chrome section have to have more an OE leaning to be appresiated?
Smoked indicators look ok on a chrome and seem to blend in better with the bumper, UK or US spec bumper.

'course they're blimmin welcome! As to whether they'll be appreciated, that depends on how much taste they have...
The smoked indicators did look quite good on my front bumper, but they're still a bit tacky...

I'm in - but only i've not got the rear bumper - it fell off when it had a conversation with our friend Armco at speed

- it died an honourable death by minimising the damage to the wings. Would a plastic have faired as well??? Who knows.
Ps anyone got a bumper???
This week I've mostly been on honeymoon!!!!
