surely you would just move all the goodies into a touring and put the shell into storage if you lost your home bud?M3Jim wrote:Still have mine, and visit here often, It's coming into the ground with me. I think even if I was homeless I wouldn't sell it.... I'd sleep in it!!

Hope you love yours half as much as mine.

What diff has your car got fitted? I know the 316i tourings came with something ridiculously short - I was always convinced something longer would make it more pleasant, if even slower when fully laden!TouringTash wrote:^^^ lucky git. You still remember my OSC badges then Jon! Long now after Stubee said they looked like they came off a Ford Escort!

Me: had my first e30 318i around 8 yrs ago - black - full mtec 2 - scorpion dtm and 16" rep alpinas - now 8 years on i have recently bought a 325i sport -doing it up and spending more and more money on it than i wanted but it will be well worth it.

I joined-up in '04 when I bought my touring because it had a 'Zone sticker in the back window (the long one, shaped like the grille/headlights - anyone still got one?).
I've still got the same car and have no intention of getting rid anytime soon. When I bought it it had just over 100k on and I thought it would be a challange to maybe get it to 200k. That looks like it will happen before Easter, so the next target is going to be 300k.
I'm on here most days, mainly because there's always something needs doing to the car!
As long as I've got the E30 I'll be around here.
If it wasn't for people here I'd have torched the car on at least two occasions - maybe I should have......
