surely you would just move all the goodies into a touring and put the shell into storage if you lost your home bud?

What diff has your car got fitted? I know the 316i tourings came with something ridiculously short - I was always convinced something longer would make it more pleasant, if even slower when fully laden!

I still got my e46 tourer 320d as my everyday car but I only have eyes for my sport now !

I joined-up in '04 when I bought my touring because it had a 'Zone sticker in the back window (the long one, shaped like the grille/headlights - anyone still got one?).
I've still got the same car and have no intention of getting rid anytime soon. When I bought it it had just over 100k on and I thought it would be a challange to maybe get it to 200k. That looks like it will happen before Easter, so the next target is going to be 300k.
I'm on here most days, mainly because there's always something needs doing to the car! :? As long as I've got the E30 I'll be around here.
If it wasn't for people here I'd have torched the car on at least two occasions - maybe I should have......

This is why I no longer drive an E30......
