Yeah a lot more than I was expecting given it needs a new exhaust and has an idling issue on cold start and to me the engine does not feel smooth.
I am pretty chuffed with that given it's had 12 owners, 170k mileage (allegedly) with a lot of service history missing and a few previous owners have crashed it.

Cannot wait for the New Scorpion full exhaust system

I think to get more power would probably need new exhaust system, refurbished fuel injectors, new HT leads, rotor arm and distributor cap etc to get 171bhp which is the factory output by BMW :-)

I think all the new genuine OEM bmw parts will, no doubt, have helped.

What 190 or the 177bhp/185lbft i made today?

Either way, not happy as mine did 183bhp/190lbft when the car had just a BTB2, scorpion rear and sebring centre.

I've since removed the sebring centre and scorpion rear and replaced with OEM BMW, fitted a BBTB and a BBR star chip and made 6bhp and 5lbft less.

I personally think its the chip but the AFR's were ok. :?

The big thing is getting BMW Inspection II Service with New Genuine BMW Parts / OEM Parts and making sure all the mechanicals are sorted instead of aftermarket mods IMO. When all that's sorted then get aftermarket mods should that float your boat. Credit to PacerPete and bss325i for doing the mechanicals :-)

Last time i had it dyno'd with just the BTB i had it done at SSR and Evolve on the same day.

It made 183bhp/190/lbft at SSR and 185bhp/190lbft at Evole so 15 shetlands and 20 torques from the fanymold.

Something is obviously now amiss.
