The Internet, BMW (service manual book) geek is off the mark before the market knows what's happening.....pacerpete wrote:Haterz ! Quattroportes are just as worthy as M3s, just the market has not discovered them yet, much
I best go now and buy my oil before the wheels fall off... I'm sure I read that on the Internet (must be true).

So many 'fast road fitterz'
Why do you think all Castrol bottles come with a sealed manufactured date?
Clearly your cars only have an oil chance

ZZZZZzzzzz....
So I called Castrol today and asked why their oil expires after 2yrs (because the BMW service book geek told me), if my car has not been driven.Demlotcrew wrote:So many 'fast road fitterz'

They told me even if I left my excrement in there it would have no effect. So I guess it must just be BMW bulls**t that causes it to expire

I have no knowledge on this save limited chemistry.
Fully synthetic oil obviously don't not go off innit.
But part synthetic oil has some organic content and so in theory could degrade. But I'm sure they treat it to combat such effects.
Who doesn't change their oil every year anyway?

A decent car, a lot of money spent on it, not to my tastes, but credit is due!

One of the top E30 M3 out there, with some serious mods, no expense spared. If you thought crack was expensive, think again.
Alcon brakes minimum a £1k a piece, the ones E30 Lo had were probably double that.
I'm guessing the ride was a bit hard.
Anyone else running 18" wheels and Kw coilovers??

No matter what's been done to it, it is the flawless paint by Greg Howell that amazes me. Simply Stunning
It is a well executed modified e30, serious wheels, serious brakes, serious suspension, serious engine works, serious interior, attention to detail everywhere
Original it may not be, but its worth a lot of cash and more than the dogs that people are trying to punt for 15k these days

Looks like a councilfest to me, albeit a big chequebook councilfest.
Less is more !
