CPS will allow cranking but won't provide a spark/fuel yeh? Might explain why mine randomly stopped firing the other day and now won't start.

The Black M3 that Topless now has, has never been on the Internet before, this is a "Virgin" car. :)

Took it out of the garage for the first time in around 2 months and found a flat tyre. Swapped it for the spare and took it to kwik fit. Really helpful matey there sorted it out and didn't even want to charge me for it. Gave him a drink for his trouble.

Put it back in the garage and had a look at how the boot trim comes apart to fix the electric aerial which annoyingly packed up towards the end of last year.

That will be something for next month I think.

The Black M3?
I've got a black 2 dr 318is/2.5 and bought a v8 converted one off a guy on here (occasionally) called reeper s13 (or is it reeper r32, cant remember).

Anyway, started fault finding last night on the 2.5, no spark, then found no fuel pressure either and fuel pump not running. Figured something had to control both of these.

Quick forum bash and a DME relay was mentioned which stirred a memory in the back of my head somewhere.

A quick check with a certain danthe narrowed it to the 3 relays behind the airbox.

The white one, when i took it apart, was suffering just a touch from green wet gooeyness inside. Cable tied the relay shut and hey presto! She runs.

With renewed enthusiasm i went and bought another relay so i dont have to rely on a cable tie then sorted out the three indicators that didn't work, fitted the new handbrake lever, tidied some bits under the dash, got the rear lights working properly, secured the headlight switch, secured the interior wiring loom out the way of my feet and generally gave the old girl some TLC.

I'm now going out to the garage to fit the orange BBS wheels i have and the worlds biggest carbon fibre spoiler you've EVER seen and drift it for the afternoon.

Started mine today halfway though winter hibernation, fired up 1st turn of the key 8)

Also put some coolant in the system because the mix was far too weak.

Back under cover now for another couple of months
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
