Went over to the car today to drop some new parts off.
The feckig ejeet has Primed and sprayed straight over the original paint in places, has,nt even keyed it.
Just peels away in your hand.
So it,s all going down to bare metal.

Holy crap Rob, I'm feeling physically sick from seeing this. So sorry to hear this happened. I'm going to do my first mod task since returning and check that the little scumbag hasn't registered another account on here.

Rob one of my best mates has the attitude that if you get a kick in the balls like this then you take it as an opportunity to do things better than you had originally intended. I think taking it back to the bare metal is an excellent idea - should give you a cracking finish - keep your chin up mate - reading through these posts let's you know that for one knob end you have a hundred good people trying to help and wishing you well.

Have found the little Runt on a Vauxhall forum. PQ9
Have been in touch with the Administrators there, and after a discussion between
them they have agreed to let me post my part of this story there, have to say a big thank you
to them for allowing this, it could be potentially damaging to their site after all.
His username there is......... the painter

But looking though Adit's and gaszman's tech 1 resto threads, it don't look like the same man.
Best to clear that up I reckon.
Entirely different people.
This one is 5ft nothing, Bald as a Coot and lives in the
Corby, Northamptonshire area.
Also his username is "The Painter " on VQ9 and
Rwdonly on here.
Apologies if this has caused any confusion to the thouroghly
decent Zoner who has a similar username.

Hey Rob, sorry to hear about it mate, the pics look pritty bad but Im sure with time and patience they'll be rectified.......when you say he didnt key it in, he just primered and sprayed over the original paint work, do you mean that he didnt sand it down?

Rob, I have just read the post you made on the vauxhall forum.
Was a very good post, but can I just point out you have a 1986 E30 and not 1966.

I'm a bit of an MG deviant, being related to my Pap who has had utterly hundred's of vintage and classic MG's, so I would love too see them pics of your's.
