no my windows are firmly shut, its just the seal isn't fitted on the sunroof yet plus the massive fact of no rear windscreen fitted yet, cant afford the £300+ bill to buy one from sytner yet lol.Cypriotgeeza wrote:You didnt leave a window open did you?breakermart wrote:I opened its door..... glared at the puddle of water where the interior should bethen closed the door!
I did have them taped up with plastic but a cat or fox seems to have climbed up it shredding the fook out of it.
That's a very final and sad thing to hear. Not even in retirement?StuBeeDoo wrote:I'm done with cars as a hobby/plaything. I won't be going back there anytime in this life.

Hopefully at the hubs, not at the lever!AndyZippy wrote:Finally adjusted my handbrake so that it is of some actual use..
Put two brand new tyres on and two a year old that I pulled of my slowly breaking car. All Toyo Proxies.. such an improvement from the cracked tat that was on prior.
Also wedge my head in the drivers footwell and sorted my central locking with the Red/black wire fix..

Had a cracked coolant hose, managed to do a temp fix and get home though. Got a new water pump, thought i'd change that whilst there, it was only £20 ! Bargain. Should be here for the weekend so i can get it back on the road. In the mean time the 318i auto is doing a great job of the daily hack but the pernamently open thermostat is making the cabin a bit chilly....another job for the weekend.....

Picked up 318 touring from Portsmouth , filled the back of it with frag in Southampton. Doors stuck on deadlock in Fleet services
Lots of language and more council activity and the turd is now safely up the passage. Autopsy tomorrow...........

New foglight bulbs, took it to the local car wash place, then cleaned the windows properly when I got home!!!
The windows are now properly cleaned in & out, anti fog layered on the inside glass and Rain-X on all the outer glass!!!
Lets see if I can see now!!!!!
Also fiddled with the rear door/light switch, which now works occasionally, as opposed to never

A bit of unexpected expenditure. One of my sidelight bulbs died last week and the dipped beam on the opposite side went yesterday. A trip to the motor factors and all is good again.
New Year looks like it could get quite expensive. MOT and Insurance due in January; exhaust back box is on its last legs and new summer tyres will be needed on the BBS.

You'll have to buy a real cover now you're in Oxfordshire. The locals will point and laugh at you!
