There are some lovely comments and I thank you!!pierce wrote:*martauto is not the OP.
The thread started a discussion which led to these beauties being produced.
I think the grill badge had more interest than the boot badge so that's what we got first.

Thanks for the payments for the people who have come good on the badges, and they will be out next week .
I have only two left which I have kept for people on the zone, pending payment, and two more might go on e- bay.
Thanks again guy`s.

Will you be actually making boot badges at some point??

I really hope so, is it the same badge but without the upper and lower parts??SilverShadow wrote:Will you be actually making boot badges at some point??

I`ve sent one out (one stamp in the house !) and four more will follow this week as I`m still waiting for some more blanks to arrive. Apologies to those who are waiting , I have not forgot.martauto wrote:Hi guy`s ,

I circular milled these as there are virtually no burrs and they are off-set in Y by 1mm to ease fitment.
So any more for any more or these are off to Europe.
Many thanks to the people who have bought them, I love the nice words / comments etc , I just need to research more mainly in the measuring area so if anyone can help me with any pictures or drawings of any Hartge badges it will be a massive help.
Many thanks again to "E30-topless" (Steve) who supplied me with the original badge , and it`s five years Steve not four. lol
Cheers Mart.

I have one painted (only done to see what they look like so not professional ) and one in bare metal .Akkord29 wrote:Any plans to make more?
I have no more plans to make any more or any boot badges.
Trying to find original badges to borrow to copy is a nightmare and also some people who said yes to buying one did not.
I had to put up front a lot of cash ( £600 plus ) ( plus packing and posting) to buy a slot for where I work to make these badges and this time just about broke through so lets get this one straight, I did not do this for the cash.
I do not have a Hartge, just thought I could help.
Cheers Mart.

I'm surprised that people have let you down. I don't want you to lose on this as it was a very selfless thing to do. I'll take another of your badges if you have one. They are very well made and better than the originals.martauto wrote:I have one painted (only done to see what they look like so not professional ) and one in bare metal .Akkord29 wrote:Any plans to make more?
