Cabbie and a touring here, both taxed and in regular use!

Think I've had 5 E30's altogether,sold one on(alpine white 316itouring) and broken two.

They are just the perfect sized car for us,fit up the side passage and you can still get the door open, modern stuff is just too wide!

Mine's currently on a SORN waiting for Mark to get over here and replace the head gasket :(

Hopefully I'll have it back on the road in time for winter. ERrrr hang on?

I've had three E30s, all white tourings. Most people I know think I've only had one :)

Less of the young. At 19 you'll be blowing the cobwebs off and they won't be wearing tight shorts.

Been around them and e34's since they were new (88 ish). Still have my convertible although still up on stands. Owned for 6 years and will probably own forever.

They are an icon, owners come and go. Only a very few are TRUE e30 through and through.

I'm still about, currently have 3 E30's, have had 12 (I think) E30's pass through my hands.

Shamed to say all 3 are on a SORN! Daily drive is an E36 and family wagon an E39.

im still around after five years or so and have had 9 e30`s to date, i was questioning myself earlier as to whether i would sell the M3 if someone offered the right money so i could move up to something newer but i could never be without an e30 as its these cars that got me on here in the first place and i have met and continue to meet great characters through this site so i dont think ill ever leave.

I've had about 15 or so E30's pass through my hands over the years with a few of them breakers. I will never sell my sport as not only does it owe me money ill never get back, not only do i love the car it also has alot of sentimental value attached to it.

Its the only E30 i own at them moment but there will be more no doubt. It was my daily but its to nice for that task now so is tucked away for when i want to drive something special to me.

For those reasons i will continue to post on this forum for as long as i can see (much to some peoples dismay!) but there are reasons that put me off contributing at times!

I'm relatively new on here, I've owned an E21 323i (lots of fun) & 6 E30s if my memory serves me. in the past 15 years.

I currently own a Zinnober red 320i cabby. parked in the garage, waiting for its MOT, a 325i touring & a Calypso red 318i cabby. which are used all the time.

Along with that convertible we've also put away another 4  2 tourings, a 2 door and a tech 1 sport.

Thing is though, every meet we go to, theres not many e30's come out to play any more. The only regular is the c2 touring and Joes 316.

Things will change next year though when Mines finished. Barrys is finished now we should see more of that as well. winkeye

HA HA! :D

It was my left index finger i caught in the door of the E46 and yes i was going to check something on the E30 at the lock up!

Funnily enough 3 years ago i did the same thing in near enough the same circumstances!
I caught the same finger getting out of an E46 to go and do something to the E30 at my lock up!

Weird!
