The above is not worth moaning about.B7 wrote:£12 a wheel for 8 x OEM mint perfection? and you're moaning?bodger wrote:bought 4 wheel centre badges for e36 m3 wheels and 4 small 'm' badges......£48![]()

There probably is a logic, just not an obvious one. Manufacturing setup costs, size of production run, hundreds of things like that...Royalratch wrote:However, BMWs prices are crazy in the sense that they follow no logic or rules and you can just as easily be shocked as pleasantly surprised and THAT is what this thread is about.

yes I'm moaning, can you honestly say that's cheap for 4 plastic caps with a badge stuck to it and 4 sticky back badges measuring roughly 10mm x 20mm? if you do then you've got more money than senseB7 wrote:£12 a wheel for 8 x OEM mint perfection? and you're moaning?bodger wrote:bought 4 wheel centre badges for e36 m3 wheels and 4 small 'm' badges......£48![]()

your right, i cant afford to run a bmw, thats why i drive a mint 1 owner 328i sport and not a rusty old e30

What just the roundels (just over a couple of quid each when I last bought a set) or the complete twistlock cap? They came right down but I've not checked of late.DanThe wrote:How much are 15 inch BBS centres now?
So did I, the thing that got me was the tiny little "M" badge was double the cost of the large BMW roundell. But thats M tax for you! Mine didnt cost £48 though, I thought it was about £2.50 for the BMW badge and £5 for the M badge? I'll dig the reciept out!bodger wrote:bought 4 wheel centre badges for e36 m3 wheels and 4 small 'm' badges......£48

He needs to be schooled in the ways of BMW then.Royalratch wrote:I know a guy who does this the reverse via San Diego.
He ships containers of vintage car and bike parts over once a month stacked with what looks like junk but is worth a fortune over here amongst restoration circles.
