Right i really want to change my wheels on my car,it is currently on 17inch momo's which i now hate :x i bought the car with then on.
I don't want 15inch bbs,too small,nor do i want alpina 17inch reps.
I was thinking of a set of bk racing alloys,BK299 with black or grey centers, there on ebay here- Item number: 320189452627.
I like these wheels, just not too sure if they'll look ok on my sport.

I'd really love a set of 17inch BBS,but as i only have a budget of £350,i don't need tyers got some allready, i delt i'll get a set.
Anybody have any other ideas?
Heres a pic of my car-has red leather now tho :D

spray them gloss black... arrows look good in gloss black.

Or get something with a dish.

Borbet a's if you want to follow the crowd... or t's if you want something a bit more modern and not so common (amongst e30's)

But for the love of god... if you like 'driving' the car... dont get 9j all round!

At the very least get 9j rear and 7.5j front.. but 7.5j all round will keep it handling nice, avoid chronic aquaplaing and tramlining... and still look cool.

A quick question to any of you with 17 inch rims on an e30.. Does it affect everyday driveability of the car on bumps and humps? do they rub? and what shocks/springs set-up can you run with them? Coz i think they look awesome..
Cheers

some will tell you they are the devils size wheels ruining the 'perfect' handling of the e30 but i think they dont make much of a difference other than slightly more bumpy ride. ro rubbing on -60/-40 springs.

Banded steels, for £350 you could get them done in whatever size you would like. You may think they are a bit steep like but handing over you cash could see you with two 8x16 and two 11x16. Would be cool as fuck. Is your going for 17" dont go for ones with a gay width and offset as it'l just look pony. Just keep scouring ebay and various forums, also look at the dub scene as the mk 1/2 golfs pcd is the same, although because of the dub boys good rims will fetch strong money. AT the end of the day you gotta go with what you like

How you want to squize it under rear arches and where you get the tyres for it?
Be more realistic.

How about my AEZ Icon's with 215/35/18 rubber

Only done about 30 miles on them and they are as good as you'd get if you just bought new(as these are).

Thats what an arch roller was made for.
Il get the tyres from my local tyre place, its about a two minute walk so i doubt il have any trouble finding it, its not like i go there nearly everyweek and know the guys that work there, hell i might even take the sat-nav with me just incase i get lost.

You make it sound like iv just suggested running it on wooden wheels or something. Maybe some people like to different, obv you dont.

I think 16's are the perfect wheel for an E30. I had a set of 17 inch azevs on my sport previously but they just didn't feel right. I had them replaced with a set of 16 inch Konigs(see below) and I have noticed the difference in handling considerably, also the vehicle feels substantially lighter.
