thats the coolest range rover and the coolest cabby ive ever seen! double the coolness infact! well done.
can just imagine the faces of some off road folks in their beaten up 2 1/4 deisel series two at a 4x4 playday when you pull up next to them in that. well funny!!!!!!!
have you just run the range rover steering column from the steering box up where the bm one used to be? how you gona get an m-tec steering wheel to fit on it? how have you got the hand brake to work with the big drum on the prop shaft? dont envy the task of combing the bm electrics with the ranger ones! must have to use both fuse boxes and link them together for everything to work?? must be a right job!??? i have more questions but ill leave it to my imagination to work it out.
hats off to you sirs!!!!!!!!

right, the steering column is bm from the steering wheel to were the bm rack would be then a one off bit with a uj in it mounted to the rr box,
the hand brake shouldnt be a problem just a matter of making some sort of linkage, and we havnt got round to the electrics yet, but i think we will use the rr stuff for the engine and suspension and the bm loom for everything else like lights and electric windows and stuff.

right there has been some progress with this ie, the wiring , fuel tank and part of the exhaust but nothing that warrants pics yet, as soon as the exhaust is finished and in place ill take some pic and post them up!!

nope!!! no sva as most of it is still rangerover ie:chassis, brakes, engine, gearbox, axles, steering etc the only thing thats changed is the body and the system goes on a points thingmunky30 wrote:i'm serious! so you get x amount of points for engine, x for gear box, x for chassisetc
so its still classed as a range rover!!
