This is what is explained in the books.
air temp is based on gas laws, easily checkable on the internet.

Fuel is a piece of piss. It´s ignition timing that you need to be thinking about
and how different things need different timing.

Side note, which has faster electronics?

Onz, do some googling on that one. MS is open hardware, based on a Hitachi chip of some sort - there will be lots of info on this. MS2 uses a faster processor.

Given the histroy of VEMS you should have no trouble finding info on the processor

Unlikely that you'll get too much info on unichip. Remember there's different types too. The newest being UniQ or UnichipQ, something like that.
E46 M3 CSL but dreaming of another E30.

JUST MY OWN PERSONEL VIEWS (take m or leave them)

Ive fitted Emrald SYSTEM 10 + years ago cause i needed a stand alone to controll a NOS program ie one that would would pusle both solenoids and retard the timing etc

it was ok but had internal faults etc and their back up was Sh** , but once i build and run the engine in , i went up there to get it mapped etc to the Experts


it was ok , but these experts where like many , really more interested in £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£

detted the motor on Nos , and scrapped the head cause they didnt look at the AFR Close enought !!
ok we all learn , so i rebuilt it mapped it my self over a much longer period and got a much better / flexible map and more MPG too,

so form me there Experts ( who talk the talk on how good they are ) normally are £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£ related in my own experiance
only the real expert who really cares and will go the extra measure to sort the little faulty out cause He knows it there and should nt be will work on my car every again ,
so thats only leaves ME or ANT ( SO FAR)

As for the MS v the others
yes MS like ANY other product is down to the quality and care taken to assembly it , same can be siad for VEMS ETC etc , andany worker can have a bad day and make a mistake , but To me it how people deal with THEIR mistake s seperate them
MS is a good product when correctly assembled and installed , just like VEMs is etc

Find some one recommend by lost of poeple not not connected with them or do it your self and learn and enjoy
