Hi everyone, havent posted on here for a loong time! I used to come on here quite often, I owned a 318i, a 316 M10 carb and a 320i (in my sig). Since then I've owned a couple of different cars but currently I have a CRX VTEC Mk2.

I've lost interest in the CRX (and Jap cars altogether) and have been very tempted by some of the cars that have come up for sale on here (Kos' IS being one of them)

Basically what I need is some moral support from you guys, I can't really recall what driving my old E30's were like (other than slow :teehee: ). I guess the main thing drawing me back to them is the sound of the six pot engine, which was fabulous, if I was to buy another one it would have to be a 325i. Obviously the CRX is a fast car, I wouldnt want anything a lot slower. The one problem is, with E30's being a BMW, the insurance is quite pricey which is annoying seeing as CRX's are generally faster. I may have to hold up until my insurance is up for renewal.

Anyway ramble over, I'm off to the for sale section :P

actually in my case its buy it, drift it (very briefly), break it, spend ages fixing it, drive it, drift it again (3 weeks and counting woo), try not to break it, improve it, drift it some more, reallllly try not to break it, reshell it, scrap the old shell... etc..

anyway cotty, you're taking this off topic.

no its buy it, drift it,break it ,fix it ,break it,fix it ,break it ,scrap it. or is that just mine? :D anyway back to the topic, not all e30's are slow all you need is a good solid base as a start then stick in a decent engine to give the sort of power it deserves.they are only slow if you leave them as a cloth cap wearing, werthers original sooking standard boringsmobile winkeye

Frankly, I'd rather you didn't get one. You've clearly doubted the status of the mighty E30 as the greatest car in the history (and the present, or indeed future) of the world, and therefore don't deserve the chance to return.

Alternatively, get a 325i - you know it's the right thing to do 8)

I'm looking at a 325i Touring tommorow afternoon 8)

seeing as CRX's are generally faster

but the power delivery is only effective in reverse!!

and bearing in mind that
the mighty E30 as the greatest car in the history (and the present, or indeed future) of the world
a 325i is the only way to travel dude.. It's like the lord himself blessed humanity with the opportunity to improve the life of us mere mortals by sending heavenly signals from the cosmos to BMW HQ all those years ago

Did you have a 200sx after the 320i?

Have you seen Henry's black m3 in Wareham? Absolute animal...

It's good to be back in an e30 (well, to own one anyway!!) for me, everyone has the car they feel comfortable to drive etc - my SX was fast but lacked any sort of driver-feel that the e30 boasts so much of.

I have seen a beautiful looking M3 drive through Sandford before. Would that be it?

I went from my 320i to a CRX VT, then a CRX non VT, then a Mk2 Golf, then my current CRX VT.

Yeah I've had a lot of cars winkeye

I smashed it to pieces before I got any pics of it  I was devastated! I got it on my 17th bday. Payed £1500 for 6months insurance! Wrote it off in less than a month  It was a fantastic car. Black with the "16valve twin cam" decals on the sides. Glass roof. A/C as well as all the other luxuries. The only pictures I took of it were the ones I put on ebay of it smashed up when I sold it. and I dont know where they are. :( I do wish I had it still.

Lets see it then.....

That looks stunning mate! Very clean looking. Number plate is NEARLY there :D -KRX.
Even though they are 'japcrap' they are without doubt great cars. Infinitely better than the 'panzy' del sol's that honda replaced them with
