will e36 seats (front and back) fit an E30?

hi guys,
as the title says

will a whole set of seats from a three door e36 fit straight into a 3 door e30? or is it possible with a bit of fiddling?!
are the subframes the same?
is the width of the backseats the same?

the reason i ask is that all good condition e30 interiors are near crazy money and i could get a nice clean set of black e36 sseats for a decent price!

anyone here ever do it?

I am going to be pulling the interior out of one of my 2 doors to fit a Cobra race seat, but I do have a full set of E36 seats in the garage, I could try for you, but I have heard that they don't fit without substantial modification. The other thing is....have you ever driven at length in a E36 seat? Possibly the most uncomfortable seats I ever sat in and the main reason why I haven't used them before.
