It depends on what type they are as there are Three types.

Price wise, well some idiot tried it on, on ebay and was asking somewhere in the region of £1200 for a 48mm.

Then put it back up for £850. Doubt it sold mind?

Yes, but I'm thinking Andrew is talking about ones from factory.

There is also 50mm and slide throttle bodies.

evo2 had 46mm throttle bodies, but the casings were different IIRC. Think they are widened out on the head side.
I've also heard of 46mm 'rally' TB's, but these may eb the same as the Evo2 ones.

yup there are

Early 46mm
Evo II 46mm flaps but larger throat and 48mm casting
Late/SE 48mm with the larger casting and rubber gaskets to match.

i have no idea wat they came off of.. all i knwo is it was an E30 m3, this is because my boss made a custom inlet for a supercharger conversion for one a while ago now.. ive "Aquired them".. so jsut cruous as to a prick really and will be modifying to fitmy is engine

id think they are a little on the large side for a 1.8, they would shunt power band through the roof. 38-40mm bodies are ample for a 1.8 16v imo
