IIRC, mine is standard size for a 325i.

i want something that is a straight twin piped quiet exhaust. basically a standard one but polished. i love the look of e46 m3 tail pipes they are the perfect size diameter wise and the metal is the right thickness. obviously im not looking for exhausts either side like the m3 lol

i fear a standard exhaust will not suit my pina reps.

so that would mean back to bbs which would mean changing rear spring....cant be bothered with all that

im thinking a standard 325 exhaust. i will then polish it to mirror finish and spray it with alot of coates of very high temp laquer or have it chromed.

The photo's I posted on this thread are what happened. I still haven't replaced the rear half - yet.
I'm still not happy with it - I don't like the pipes coming out pointing at the pavement (or hedge). The 60mm tips are cool though IMHO. I just want something that comes straight out the back.
I still think I'm going to go for a Scorpion. I don't know how much life is left in the back box. The outer skin has started to perforate, so I don't suppose it will be too long before it blows through - once I get back on the road.

Yes it can. Usually, performance systems are only supplied as 3-piece.

Concensus seems to be that any exhaust - even one that is about to fall off - is better than Powerflow.

I'll agree with that Stu, My powerflow was a shocking collection of pipes.

Changed for a second hand Magnex system which turned out to have a shot centre box ( ) so we cut that out. One box system now and still not a loud exhaust at all. 8)
