Can you get the whole chassis number somehow, from your last 7. I need it to get an Irish tax form sorted?

Not that I'm aware of.

I don't know your situation, but it should be clearly visible on the car in a couple of places.

1. Stamped into the scuttle panel below the windscreen
2. On the VIN plate above the drivers side (assuming RHD) headlamp.

It should also be on the V5 registration document and the MOT certificate.

If you don't have the car yet, then the current owner should be able to provide it without any trouble.

ah yeah, its at home you see, I was just hoping I could get the number so I could do this today... ah one more day in a borrowed renault scenic wont kill me (well it might)
