Hi

Just thought I would introduce myself to all you zoners.

Just recently bought an F reg 320 Touring for the wife (we are expecting our first kid) for a run around, but before I gave her the keys, I needed to sort out some bits. Wiper motor sticking, central locking not working, the usual stuff.

Anyway I found this site and I guess that was the start of it, I'm now keeping the car and have started to change bit's and bob's.

It's like an addiction, it started with the wiper motor sticking (found the excellent thread on repairing this and it worked a treat. Then moved over to the front grill (chrome is wrong) and then the clear front indicators. I thought that would be the end of it, but no. I then got the head linning out and got that trimmed black, now I am looking at lowering it. I've spent the best part of £300 so far and I am constantly looking for other improvements.

Do I need help ?

The car itself as stated is an Silver F reg 320 Touring, 137K on the clock 2 owners from new (first being BMW as it's an ex demonstator) and in excellent condition (will post pics in due course).

Anyway, just thought I would say hello and thank all you zoners for your post on this site, your insight has saved me time and money when repairing broken parts and deciding what alteration to do next.

Cheers

Tom

Hi and welcome. You've chosen probably the wisest cheapest most practical run about for the wife there is.

£300? Best up that mortgage mate.
