Is a rocker cover gasket main dealer only?

Get a bit of instant gasket and use the old one
I've had my rocker cover off twice and never replaced it and it's never leaked, don't spend money unless you have to.

Main dealer M20 gasket is about 8 or 9 quid. It's all I'd fit to be honest.
