If so, surely the 325is is as fast or faster than the m3??

They are american stats. I believe the euro versions are slighty quicker. Bear in mind it's an e36 not an e30. 0-60 is around 7.2 seconds, but they lack low done grunt being a 24v. Great engine though all the same.

That'll teach me to read thoroughly before posting! I saw 1991 and assumed e36! They called the e36 coupe a 325is
