Can somone tell me if the lower front panel on a e30 which holds the foglights in is it welded in or bolted on. If its bolted how much of a job is it to remove and fit?

it's bolted on you can choose to either remove the front wings or just move them over slightly and very carefully :D

I opted for the latter when i took mine off and decided it's something you shouldn't do too often - was a bit scared i was going to bend something :? All ok though, just be gentle :D

The plastic side mounts need to be undone, yes, but not the front bumper shocks/mounts.

Just work your way round the valance feeling for bolts and undo them as you go, its pretty sim;ple to take off but as has been said, be gentle moving the wings.

Iirc there are two bmm bolts under the front of it, two along the top, and two on each side.

Just four self tappers hold the front panel on, once it's detached from the wings.
