I've been doing a bit of research on this as well, and basically Bridgestones (especially Potenzas) came out either first or second on basically every single test. Also, owner satisfaction surveys were interesting read, and everyone was very pleased with the Bridgestones. Oddly enough, Goodyears got really bad ratings, although people here have said they're happy with them.

ive found the toyo t1-r to be great in the dry but not so great in the wet . i can beat subaru's and porsches in the dry but get humped by saxos in the wet
. being quite a soft compound they wear out relatively quickly. ive always used them but will probably try something else for my next set
