I'm going for Bilstein Sports, with the H&R springs, always seems to get the best results.

Was thinking bilstien srintline (i think thats the ones) slightly stiffer shocks, got them on my E36is and they lovely!!

Anyone know if rear shocks from a 1992 e36 318is will fit a 1991 e30 is??

They look pretty similar, top mounts etc but not compared them ... ??

Si, are you fitting new dampers on the front? if so you will need a special key to do the nut up, if you want to borrow it.

Stupid question but why did you extract the trailing arm bushes?

Also how did you remove the drivers side as I thought that was near impossible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Well to put eccentric bushes in to sort out the extra camber, and the drivers side was taken out the same way as the passenger. Who told you it was impossible?

Wil only done back, will do front tomorrow and got to give it a few miles to set down as its only about 1cm lower than before, but the camber on the rear is the same as the front!

Can you tell me how you did it then (remove the trailing arms)? I cannot get anything on the nut on the drivers side to stop it spinning when I'm trying to undo the bolt.

Cheers

Project, i just used two spaners on the drivers side as the filler pipe for the tank is in the way for a socket, have you tried a thin spanner?

Si, yeah the bilstiens have a collar nut which requires a special key only from bilstien direct, its free but it took me weeks to get one. Its one of thse things you only use once.
