Can you still get the plastic part that the ball end of the headlamp adjuster goes into? I've got a set of new smoked Hella's but on fitting them these plastic bits have crumbled so are of no use.
I've very carefully got some out of a set of E34 lights but they're on their last legs as well.

Do the dealers stil sell them, if not, where can I get them?

Many thanks as always. :D

Yep,

cost you £50 for a complete set of adjusters from the stealers - ball bits are fairly cheap, coupla quid each tops iirc

It's part 11 I'm after, the plastic 'cup' bit. The E34 lights I got from a scrappy are better than the ones I had originally but as with all things made of plastic, they degrade over time, dry out and break up.

12p a piece sounds better though. :D

Here lad, while you are fitting them, are you able to change the dipped beam to RHD?

I fitted Hella back units from an E34 so just fitted them to the smoked units as per how they were on the clear ones.

Had no problem with the direction, just the plastic cup thingies are broken so the lights wobble a bit. Got the bits today from the dealer so should be sorted when i fit them tomorrow.

I saw your thread on the problems you were having with your MOT and the lights. Can't see what he's failing you on to be fair if they point in the correct direction etc. I'd lodge an appeal or go somewhere else tbh.

Good luck all the same. :D
