Anyone got any articles on this car, i have seen it in many videos, looks rapid. This might sound stupid but i take it an S52 is an m3 engine?

I really want to know alot more about this car, cheers lads

It's a US spec S52, converted to OBD-1, and some sort of aftermarket supercharger setup. I don't know the details of Randy's old motor but that is the basics of it.

its a 1999 m3 engine? I think this car is totally stunning, the bodykit is a bit chav, so are the wheels but imagine it with a tech 1 bodykit and a set of original alpina's. winkeye

If anyone has any other videos or aritcles about this motor, post them up :wink:

Yes, S52 is the "red headed stepchild" of the M-engines; it's the M50/2 based single-throttle, long-stroke motor. Not the 6-throttle glory you guys get on your side of the pond!

Hey, we can build the US motors to make similar power as the Euro's, FWIW : )

You would be suprised at how much cheaper a lot of parts are in the states Max. Ive recently being looking for some piston rings and can get OE spec rings imported from the US for a third of the price anyone over here will quote me.
