What do people think of these?

What do you think of these?
I want to go euro look with my car and just wondering if people think it's a good idea to go with these to smooth them.
Would there be any other way of going about it? Maybe smaller and flush fit handles?

audi handles are big on the vw scene and look good aswell. dont know about the mechanism but it might be worth looking in to. solinoids(sp) are good but a bugger when they start playing up and you cant get in your car lol

Is this a bad time to mention a lad from Newcastle had them on a micra?tristan325 wrote:Now that is an excellent suggestion and would be very unique.dips346 wrote:fiat barchetta which are cool
I thought solenoids were legal as long as you had a method of manual entry, such as a button under the wing mirrors?

Max, don't Barry your car!!!
TBH flushed handles will improve airflow over the doors, reduced vortex and eddying.
But the car is a box to begin with!!!!

TVR's open with a button under the wing mirror, most people who get rid of door hide the buttons which make the solonoids (sp) work and some program them to work with alarm key fobsdips346 wrote:because the police know where the tvr lock isMrDazzle wrote:What about TVRs?dips346 wrote:and 100% against the law as well

Seems very convoltued just to open a door. Colour co-ordinate the handles, save a lot of hassle and expense.

Can just imagine the police training school timetable:
9AM: Restraining Suspects.
10AM: Fingerprints
11AM: Opening TVRs.

Don't you see the irony of you saying the red 318is on Pistonheads is council? After you get your E30 it won't be long before it's on BarryBoys.
Edited to say my intention was not to have a go at you, as I know you're 16/17. Subtle standard cars, BMW parts, will get the right sort of attention rather than council/Barry mods. Less is more as the saying goes.
