Does anyone know if there is a vernier pulley available for the 318 M40 engine? If not would other people be interested in this as I am sure either piper or kent cams might produce one if there is enough interest.

its almost a vernier as OE dude, the keyway is a loose fit so the iner/outer can rotate to correctly tension the cambelt assy.

Hi
The reason why I'm asking is because after fitting my Piper 285 cam the little notch in the cam pulley decided to snap off. I happen to have a spare (used) cam pulley, however that one is also looking a little weak and I don't want to bend anotehr set of valves. Here's a pic of the old cam pulley.
