Hello everyone,
My name is Olly and im from staffordshire. I went to Derby lastnight to collect my 1st bmw e30, gotta say its bloody brilliant, what a smooth drive for such an old car 8O
She is a Calypso red 325 and i have very big plans for her. I was looking on the internet the other day at euro'd e30's and i have got to say, wow!
Plans are to lower it, mtech kit and some nice big wheels although im not certain which ones to go for just yet, something like 15" 3 section bbs look sick or borbet a's, along those lines anyway.
The zone looks a great site and im sure i will have many good times here, searching for parts and getting the help i need.
Hope i have not posted in the wrong section but if i have i appologise.

Olly. :)

Ive no pictures yet, sorry.
the car was advertised on the autotrader, i dont normally buy cars off it but the man from derby insisted it was a minter and it was, not a single bit of rust in sight.
When i have a camera sorted i will try my best to get some pictures up. Im not very computer minded so it may take me a month or two, lol.

Hello. Like the Euro idea. Hunt around the different areas on the zone for a while and I'm sure you'll find lots of inspiration.

Does everyone on the Zone do shift work or something?
Every message on this thread is between 10 am and 5 pm - apart from Jhonno at 5.02... :D
(Or are you all on here when you should be doing that dreaded 4-letter word WORK...)

Welcome Olly and greentouring. Looking forward to the pics, I love Calypso red, and I've got a green Touring too...

Hello, me again. :)
Basically the e30 i bought from derby appeard to have head gasket issues, It played up something rotton.
I took the car back to derby lastnight and got my well earned money back!
The guy i bought it form was having none of it but he eventually came around with a little persuasion
I then got myself on the hunt again lastnight and this morning and i couldnt believe my very eyes when i spotted an e30 parked up on a garage in stone of all places 8O (5 mins away from my house)
I walked straight up to it, bagde said 325i on the back and i thought HAPPY DAYS :) .
This car is in even better condition too, its just a shame its another 4-door but never mind.
I had a good look around it, sills are solid, jacking points are good, boot ok, sunroof ok, arches spot on. I seriously couldnt believe my luck. 8)
So this is me now.

J-reg
15" bbs
scorpion exhaust (which i dont want, its too bloody loud)
sport cloth interior
Toad alarm and immobiliser
Zinnobar red (i think)
taxed and tested untill november
and all for the healthy sum of £700 8O

Let me know what you think guys.

Olly.

Very impressed Olly. £700 for a J-reg. J's are rare as, unless they're Touring or convertible.
Shame it's Zinnobar red, nice colour but I do like that Calypso red. Don't worry about the 4-door.
I think the Scorpion has a lovely sound to it. A bit loud maybe, but I love it.

Well done, hope you enjoy it.
