I had for sale my E30 on the zone. Someone came last week and placed a deposit for collection today (Sat). She has now gone, he came and collected her at 10am. I am very sad to see her go.

Anyway. I would like say thanks to everyone on the zone for all the help they have given me. This is an extremely informative and friendly site and will recommend to anyone who has an E30.

May be back at a later date but for now its Goodbye.

Thanks ever so much

Nikki

I guessed Nikki was a girl... it was the politeness, spelling, capitalisation, good manners (saying thank you), and not too many blokes are man enough to call themselves Nikki.

Nikki - you should have bought an E30 318i... convertible :D

...though I suppose the MX5 is not the worst conv to buy.

They really are quite good, Chris. My wife has one - it's 100% reliable, good fun to drive. And, as you say, it's a RWD 2-seater soft-top.

Yes, I am a girl and no not a hairdresser, i work for my parents as a secretary. I wanted something for the summer on the small side which wont cost me a fortune in general. I was thinking about an E30 conv but thought I would try something different. If I dont like it I could also sell it and buy another E30.

mx5's are great cars. loadsa fun.
(go for an mr2)-my girlfriend was looking for a mx5 or an mr2 and the mr2 is slightly better in every way IMO. if youre looking to buy an mx5 i would consider going for an mr2.
anyway (enough rambling), good luck with yer new motor.
