Hi guys, some of you may have noticed that I havent been around lately.
Well, as the story goes........
I was happily driving (see cruising) along the M1 towards Milton Keynes.... dont ask why I was going there... My speed was a decent 80 miles an hour, not fast, but not slow.... a happy cruising speed.
And then I saw them....... 2 barry boy racers, weaving through the cars on the motorway..... damn idiots I thought, them and their 106's, done up to look like space rockets. They were trying their damndest to pretend they were F1 cars, ducking and diving. Now I was watching this for a good few seconds, before one of them decided that MY BMW 320i DREAM BLOODY CAR looked like a good car to use as a brake for their piece of SH1T!!! The damn idiot cut across my front end (and I mean CUT!) taking out my left wing, and throwing me into a spin....... So here I am spinning, when all of a sudden his bum chum friend takes me on from the other side, and God knows how, starts me rolling..... I think I rolled twice. 2 Weeks later, here I am with a broken left arm (again) and no bloody BMW!!!!!!! WHY THE HELL ARE THEY ALLOWED TO DRIVE?!?! DAMN THEM I SAY!!!!!!! I WANT THEM DEAD!! Any offers??
Car is a total right off, inurance are saying it wouldnt be worth them paying out because I would be paying more than they would.
I just wish I had given the car to Zayyan earlier, than in 2 months time :(
Sad SAD story :(

Bastards, surely there were enough witnesses to prosecute them and get their licenses taken away?

One of them didnt have a licence.... and them getting their licences removed means nothing to me.... I want their heads AND their little heads handed to me on a silver platter so that I may squash them with my giant feet....... The guy without his licence was a little chav of only 16 years old......

They are trying to convince me my car isnt worth spit, thats why they are taking their time in paying out. And I'm trying my damndess to convince them that yes, it is an old car, BUT, it was a very well looked after classic.... and it was worth more than their damn pugs.

Oh mate, talk about blood boiling.
I'm so glad you are in one piece. Dont let the Insurance stiff you, stand your ground with them.
As for for the two worthless pieces of scum that were involved i hope you have their addresses. There is no way the law will do anything apart from a slap on the wrist and a small fine.
All the best fella.

You can probably get several times more money for your injury than the car is worth and if you have an uninsured loss recovery on your policy (about Ԛ£30 extra) you get the money off the courts and it's up to the court to chase the chavs for the money. If you have fully comp insurance (i doubt it, I know i've never had it) you claim off your insurance and then again off the third party if that applies. :)
Good luck. Just trying to make life a little easier.
P.S. Don't except your insurances first offer of a settlement. :nono:

I miss my car :(

Thats bang out of order. Heads should roll, roll off the top of beachy head me thinks.

You should keep a close eye on the police case and prosecution and attend court or definitely someone in your absence. Funny how names and addresses are read out in court!

Everyone know someone who owes them a favour! Get my drift.

I'll do it for free :x

I came on and read this thread about an hour ago but was too angry to reply to it.

I'm devastated for you, I really am - I won't even talk about how beautiful a machine your car was.

I'm glad you're OK, it should have been the w*nkers in their little French cars with all the damage.

Make sure you can get every penny you can get out of the insurance (make sure you mention how the kit and its condition make it worth a lot more than a standard 320i) and do claim for your injuries as well.

Good luck with it and I hope you recover soon.

Johnono I've been laid off work for 3 months, cant set foot in the kitchen, I've been told. As for their addie's I have a my lawyer (a very good friend of mine) working on them. I have pics coming, just need to get them scanned. I now have another titanium rod in my arm (lower down from the other one), and I intend shoving that up their stinking little rear ends, to rip their hearts out.
Who knows, perhaps I'll be arriving at a meet in a slicked out M3 soon ;)........ Guess who's gonna ride the system for all its worth!!! :P

Thats some bad luck mate. Now here's some advice. Check that you do indeed have legal protection. If so, as previously mentioned you will be able to then claim for your injuries. This will pay your court costs too.

Get chatty to any police involved. If you strike up some rapport, they may even divulge the names and addys for the charvers in question. A friend of mine got into trouble with the cops after getting into a tussle with a local chav.

The long and short of it was he was known to the coppers, they hated him so gave my mate a photo with his name on it!!!

Best of luck. Keep us informed of the progress!
