325i Manual Gearbox

My gearbox is stuck in reverse gear. I was told I need a new gearbox. Whats the best option ? I got a price of £425 Supplyed & fitted 2ND hand box. Please let me know what u recommend I should do. Cheers buddies.

£50 will get you a 'box, or £100 for a sport box

Thats a lot of labour, any good with tools yourself?? Not a massively hard job!

Sport box is alot more than £100 if the seller knows what it is....

I have a 325i box for sale... but i'm down in Dorset...

Sold my sport box to oze30 for £100, now he's selling it on cos he's doing the 3.5 conversion.

I have 2 gearboxes here, both rattle in Neutral iirc (as they all seam to!), are fine through the gears. One is yours if you pick it up. Fitting it isn't that difficult lol

Yeah I pick it up m8, but how much & where I u ? That ratterling how bad is it & ids it worth the hasel of installing it ?

TBH They all rattle to a certain extent, some have spent hundreds on trying to get them not to rattle to no avail lol

I no longer have an M20 so hence no use to me, just want the space.
