I want to re-cover the front (sports) seats in my touring, including bolsters. Can original seat material still be bought from the dealers? Does it come pre-formed and is it just a case of placing and fastening it? Is this an awkward job to do and best left to the pro's or something a DIYer can do with good results? Cheers!

Try giving Jaymic a call and see what they say? I have a friend who is getting his interior done in the original cloth for his e21 from these guys.datourer wrote:240 for 1 seat?? I may have to shelve that idea and find some tidy second hand seats.

It would probably be more cost effective to have it done there since I am in the states. I charge $950.00 or $1,500.00 front and rear, for kits I make out of BMW OEM leather. Your prices of 240 per seat from the dealer is a good price, if you can still get your color.SilverShadow wrote:Euro3 how much can you do the front seats for my cab in leather? There are a number of great trimmers out there, just make sure you check the quality of the leather, cloth vinyl etc before you have them do it.
I have only been doing this for 3 years part time, untill this past year I have been doing it full time and have only used the best products that are out there.
