These wheels are rare and a set went on sale on the zone and fetch nearly 2k. Ok they where in better nick but how will it cost to get them refurbed?

Any way I think these would of been the ulitmate wheel for my H2.7 powered cab

ooks like ill have to settle for the 16s then

I have never heard of anywhere quoting 1100 quid to refub wheels

Mine were 45 quid a wheel and they certainly look like the have been done properly

Hi Silvershadow, i was watching these as well, i thought it would be nice to have a spare set i even put a bid on them but completely forgot about them until the auction had finished. I think the finish price was probably about right if you could find the correct tool to split them youself and the centre caps i reckon it would cost 200 to 300 pound to refurbish them as they are split rims. The hardest things to find would be the correct centre caps and OZ bolt tool.

some people are just damn too greedy, wanting 2 sets! winkeye

I have friend who got his bbs splits refurbed from a company in bham they charged just under 500 pounds for them?

I was after these from Ste but was why over my budget. I think you could always machine out the centres.??

Have you put the rims on your car yet??

I still feel these are the ultimate Hartge rims for the e30

I agree Jon,

But only a beauty, like your car.

I dont see the point in buying 4 stud mega expensive wheels.

On a minty E30 M3 yes.

You could buy a nice E30 for the price of those wheels, the refurb & new (Top Quality) rubber. Thats if they are straight. If you know what I mean.

Thats my 2p

If I knew I was gonna get another e30 within 8 months of selling the last one then I would've kept hold of Ste's set. Damn!

BINGO!

120 Bolts AND NUTS = £200
New Badges £80
Removal of any grazes and buckles, stripping of the ENTIRE wheel INCLUDING the inner faces, Painting the inner faces, centre section and centre caps, polishing of the rim (so they ALL look the same) HIGH QUALITY Laquering, which normally takes a number of coats to achieve a proper deviant-like finish, Sealant and labour time..... ur looking at a grand if its done properly.

Yeah i know, i thought they started off cheap so id have a try.

I've had a quote from Juswheels in Nottingham of £150 to split and rebuild the wheels and £150 to refurb the centres but thats if you reuse the bolts which you're not supposed to do and OZ will not supply bolts so if you machine out the centres you wont be able to reuse the bolts. When i got the wheels Ste told me the bolts cost him £2.95 each and you need 140 bolts to do all the wheels. But i've managed to find someone who will supply me the correct OZ bolts from Germany for less than half that. The wheels should be on the car for April/May.

i THINK their BBS bolts are refurbished. Im not sure about OZ bolts, but im 80% sure that £1-something per bolt is a refubed bolt price. They get the bolts stripped and rechromed you see and they use these in the refurb rebuilds they do. They WILL supply and fit brand new bolts, but im pretty sure they will be a bit more. I could be wrong though - my german isnt that good!

I think their OZ bolts may be refurbed jobs as well as their site did say they were chromed and im not sure the bolts are orginally chromed, but i'll clarify this with them before i get the bolts. Brand new BBS bolts are about £1.95 each from a ebay.co.uk shop called Performance-Wheel-Supplies-Limited but BBS and OZ bolts are different.

I know! it cost me £60 just for the 2 sockets to remove the bolts because OZ wont sell it to anyone, not even their dealers.
