Ive had it nearly 5yrs. Apart from it being stressfull in the rain you cant relax for a min.I couldnt think of a better car for the money. Its so cheap to run, parts every thing. Its like one of the family.

Sounds a healthy engine you've got there
I get 35 max out of a 316i driving like a grandad!

Every time i put a new part on it(just bought a strut brace)i fall in love again. The engine is sound i think its down to simple over enginering.
All i need now is for the good people a sony to include a e30 m3 next time they bring out gran turismo then ill be truly happy. Why they left out one of the most successful racing cars of the last 20yrs out is beyond me.

Andy i think that CAB is far too fast anyway, you should give it to me! Around Cambridge we have empty roads where i can get past 25mph on a duel carriage way!

Thanks

I wish. Just a 325i baur slowly added bits it has all the parts now appart from an obc.I got a lovely mirror yesterday with map lights in and a brace.
Next step 16 Alpinas, then manifold. As you probably know it never ends.I just want to keep it standardish looking.Ive sorted the body work so its a quest for power.

First Ԛ£20 I put in mine lasted 45 miles! LOL Then I discovered there was a leak in the tank. I cant put more than a fiver in at the mo but its getting 40 to 50 miles if I drive sensibly.

40/50 on a fiver is awsome.I once got about 92+out of a tenner i had the hood down and practicaly rolled the length of the A5 on a hot summers day listening to some tunes.I had some right tail backs behind me were it goes in to single carridge way. When they got passed i had some right evils off other drivers. But no one ruined my buzz that day.
