right hi everyone again :)
thought it was about time to get that bloody manifold sorted. it chuffs from cold, and if i were to go downhill not using any accellerator the wind would cool the manifold down enough to make it chuff again. but was fine once warm..
so called sutton rebore. they managed to drill the broken one out with the head on the car, and put a new stud in :)
but then the last bolt i was tightening when i had put the manifold back on, i stripped another thread. was no prob tho, he drilled the hole, re-tapped it and helicoiled it with the manifold in place!
came to the grand total of Ԛ£58 - they were the easiest two studs luckily tho.

car is sweet as a nut :)

now im looking for the inner arch of the passenger side, the wheel just catches it on full lock and sounds dirty :( anyone??

i know they told me lol
i used to use them all the time for my other place of work and to do little bits on my engine and for machining valve clearances on pistons.

i was so pleased they could sort it without taking the head off tho

they can do pretty much anything you need them too, engine wise! if they cant, they'll send it to someone who can, and they charge you a real good price too!

:thumb: good company!
