The blue one? Was running low 12s IIRC. Will be in the 11s once he gets a new torque converter apparently... & next season he's gonna get round to finishing the nitrous install - that'll be another 200 brake then
What was Ian's fastest time in the end?

13.8 was my best time of the day. Not bad considering the amount of stereo in the bootjonb wrote:ian got around 14.1

I went up against the blue v8 e30 on my first run and got absulotly murdered.
That thing shifted
The yellow smily turd was running nitros, cant remeber what engine was init though.

Later on in the day i did manage to beat a red e30 m3 and a blue e36 m3
That was with shit buget tyers on the rear and a worn gearbox with no short shift.

The first few were shocking lol but the more runs i did the better they got, the last one being the best.
I cant help wondering what it would make with a few week points sorted out, a cam and another re map?
Be interesting to see what you can get from an m20 on a lowish buget.
Andy335s touring is gonna be very quick when he get his remap.

....and some more mods
and a heat shield given that the filter is on the exhaust manifold side.

I would like to see Ian's car doing low 13's as I strongly belive its capable of doing so.
A ZM Coupe in standard form put down 13.4.

That's covered with one of the mods i'm going to do as the whole intake(TB/air filter/piping) is going to be moved to the cool side of the engineM5pilot wrote:and a heat shield given that the filter is on the exhaust manifold side.
How are you doing this?
U shaped Samco?
You'll defo need a remap as you'll be altering the inlet tract by quite alot. Fit an ITG filter in place of the K&N.
Ask BTB to make you a manifold, then do a final remap.
It WILL be very fast!

I'm going to use a twin 60mm TB, the stock one one is 64-65mm.
I'm hoping to squeeze an M30 air box in rather than using a shitty open filter like i've got now.

I'm also going get around to fit an X-pipe for my exhaust.
<edited> poor spelling, nowt new there then !
