lsd?

hi all am i corect in thinking ,,,, if i jack the car up on the axel so both wheels are clear from the floor and turn one wheel if the other turns the other way then its an lsd? .....thanks phil :oops:

No Mate, if the go opposite ways its just a standard diff. If they go in the same direction then its a LSD :)

Don't bother jacking it up! Just get the revs up and drop the clutch, if you get two black lines you have an lsd :mad: .............. one line and it's just a standard diff

not always

i always left 2 lines with the open diff on my touring

did a few at lakeside just to proove the point

either check the tag it will have an s on it if lsd or jack up one side and if the wheel turns freely thn its open if it requires a lot of effort either the handbrake is on its in gear or you have a slipper
