Ive been trying to sell my renault 5 to get this BMW for months now, it has been on ebay 6 times and only 2 people turned up, they both made stupid excuses for not wanting it, so i put it on one more time the other day and someone clicked 'buy it now' for £1100 which i was happy with, after knocking me down to £1050 on the phone we arranged to meet at a rest area stanstead this afternoon, ive put petrol in the car, polished it, hoovered it, got all the documents ready, said my bye bye's ...

then i get a text 'sorry mate, cant buy your car, good luck with sale'




I dont know what to do someone is expecting me to get there e30 tommorow afternoon

Tell me to bugger off but could it be that you are asking a bit much? coulde you afford to lose a couple hundred to make sure you get your e30?


Ebay is only good for getting the lowest prices now it seems, prices have plummeted! Also your car is easily recogniseable and people may wonder why its been up so many times. If you list it again you can explain why its up again.

Sorry I cannot be of much help getting you cash by tomorrow afternoon though.

Thats really shit mate, have you tried autotrader? I think you will find less people will mess you about on there.

i see what you mean mate but the first time i put it on it went for 2k with no reserve... then it kept goin for £1600! so i thought i'll put it on for buy it now of £1100 to secure a sale as the e30 im getting is 1k, still cant do much now, shall i put it back on again? it will look so dodgy, even with an explanation!!

Thats realy unlucky, ebay seems to attract all the wrong buyers. Will the E30 seller take in in p/x? Maybe a 1 day auction, and just see how it goes . Good luck.

im part of the renault club and been advertizing it on there but...no luck, ah well
