EQUiP CHECK?

Hello guys.....is there any way to check how a car was delivered, when it was delivered the very first time(new)? Especially with regard to what
equipment/package it came with....
I have used the VIN decoders......but these don´t really say anything about the extras.........all help appreciated.

yeah I think BMW has a database, call your local dealer with the VIN number and they should be able to find out for you.

p.s whats a VIN decoder.. is ther an online list of what a car SHOULD be? when i try get insurance etc My 2dr Black 318i shows up as white 316i I think

Take the VIN number and ask at the BMW dealer, they can tell you right away.
Or Schmiedmann (a danish company that sells second hand and new BMW parts - and who are also the worst, incapable, rude and generally f'cking useless waste of oxygen in the world - rant over) ..and it doesn't cost a penny... have you bought a new car?
I have ..lol.. have moved to the dark side with an e36 compact (girls car)
You can see it on bilgalleriet (danish site for car pictures) ... I don't have a link but it can be seen under "open air" ... huge sunroof.

yeah, tourers long gone now geez , but the comp. is quite good really, with all its little extras and bits

never mind about the valance, it would have been a job and a half to sort anyway, but we knew that though
