Just the colour really letting it down and the rims would be way to big for a comfortable drive, but each to there own

I'm sure all M3 convertible E30's came with a standard lookking bootlid (like this car), the only difference was that they were made from fiberglass.

i stand corrected, you learn something new every day  just had a closer look at the photos and it surely must be worth more than that for the parts alone as you say

Something very very dodgy about this car.

Its been on ebay many times before at a much higher price.

The colour is a complete let down.

The parts alone are worth shit loads.

Yeah but if you bought it for parts only and it turns out to be stolen - you've still lost your money.
You've gotta ask the question - why's it so cheap if it's a genuine car?
In fact I think I'll ask the seller a few questions.......
Will post up his responses if he doesn't show them on ebay.

Not in the same place as a normal E30, E30 M3 saloon VIN is located below the washer bottle, but it looks like it's on the strut tower on this car, maybe cabs have them there...

There also looks to be some dubious discolouration on the scuttle panel where the chassis number should be???

guys

this is probably a scam. the guy selling it probably doesnt even know his i.d is being used.

the add is probably just a cut and paste from someone elses past auction.(as mentioned this was on ebay a while back).

theres plenty of these scams on there.

bmw e46 m3 cabriolet. buy now for £3.995 etc.

dodgy as lol, id be suprised if thats a genuine m3, but who knows, at the end of the day is a 130,000 mile motor in an incredibly undesirable colour, i imagine it would be worth breaking but not sure how much you would actually get for everything. Its recoverable if sold to a painter for example, and it does come with the proper wheels too. But even if sorted i doubt it would it would be worth much, 2 resprays etc.. must say tho, if i had 2k burning a whole in my pocket i'd certainly go have a look!

jonb is 100% right on this one - its a scam. Lots of scams going on at the moment.

There was a guy recently who was selling BBS split rims who had his ID hacked and everything being sold on his account was a total scam.

No one in their right mind would sell that car for £2250!

It has been on fleagay quite a few times and the last time Im sure it was 'buy it now' £9k or something!

I'd deffo buy it. Get some pumping tunes going down and have me new neons under the car to light it up man whilst dragging Tim Westwood by the neck attached to my bad ass bumper

I sent him an e mail saying I wanted more info on the car and here sent me this.

Hello Ed,

Sorry for taking so long getting back to you. I already have tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out. Really hope you are interested in my 1993 BMW M3 E30 Convertible. The M3 is 100% working and looking AMAZING, is like new, in perfect conditions, clear title, accident free, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever, no engine problems and it has been garaged most of the time. I will include all receipts/paperwork along with it. It has 129,750 original miles. For more pics click here: http://usera.imagecave.com/1993m3e30/ .

I am looking to sell the car right away for £2,250.00 with an extra cost of £180.00 for delivery. THIS IS MY LAST PRICE. The first one that agrees with this price gets this amazing M3. I will not negotiate the price. Also, I only take in consideration those buyers who are really interested in buying the car, to be sure that I don't spend my time with endless discussions. This way, I shall be assured of the serious intentions. This BMW is in perfect condition.

The 93 M3 is right now located at eBay's Shipping Center in Switzerland from where it will be shipped by eBay as I had to go abroad some important seminar and I deposited it there to do this deal in the meantime. Beside shipping the car, eBay will act as the middle man, holding the payment until you receive and inspect it. You will have a 7 days inspection period to check and ride this stunning M3.

Only after you agree that the car is the one you paid for, they will release the money to me. If you find it to not suit the description you will be fully refunded.

If you are really serious and want to close this deal right now I will be needing your eBay ID, FULL NAME and COMPLETE ADDRESS to start the secure transaction over eBay.

Regards,
Richard Gallagher

If he says car is located at eBay's Shipping Center in Switzerland why does it appear in the pic in the UK with UK number plates on other cars in the street.

This has to be a scam
