Hi, as you may remember last wk I sold my e30 m3, I wasn't really ready to sell it so found myself without a car, I was looking for a 5 or 7 to bum around in untill I decided what to do.
I've just swapped a few bits and pieces I had in my garage for a 91 e34 m5 in LHD , jesus what a car! I've not taken much notice of them before but I'm trully shocked at the performance its awsome, and so comfy .
I wish I'd not got it now as I'm getting hooked .
Also thanks to everybody who replied about cheap cars but I was blocked from my IM by some kind of surfwatch thing so couldn't reply.
I'm still trying to decide what to do next for a car , I've had too many m3's and still have my 320is that I'm building into a track car so on the lookout for something interesting .

I had a 535i e34, before I bought my 316. I still think the e34 is a better car...
It handled just as well, if not better, cos it had a LSD whereas my baby bimmer doesn't... Power was awesome, even for such a barge. And all that space too!!!
Drifting an e34 is a truly wonderfull experience!!

had a 535i sport manual. e34.
funnest... fastest... scariest car i ever drove.
problem is... so many are owned by 30yr old pikeys with 170000miles on the clock from driving to the bookies and back. loads seem to have m5 reps too.
im currently looking for an unmolested one if any1 knows of any.

'91 will probably be a 3.6 with 315bhp!
What bits and pieces did you have in your garage amounting to an M5?!

Yes its a 3.6 with 315 hp and it feels so smooth and quick, and the noise when pushed is lovely! I wish I'd not driven it now as iy'll be hard to return to a smaller car . I'm very tempted to look for a nice m5 touring now .
