e30 convertible roll bar

Hi there has anyone fitted a roll bar or some sort of roll protection to an e30 convertible.

hasnt been done, i think it will only work in a coup , 4dr or Baur (like Mine). But maybe u can be the first

NO I DONT THINK IT HAS BEEN DONE CANT FIND ANY PICS ON NET OR INFO ANYWHERE, I DONT THINK A REAR CAGE FROM A 2DOOR COUPE WILL FIT WITHOUT MODIFICATION, DOES ANYONE NOW ANY CAGE BUILDERS NEAR TAUNTON?

Ive seen a LHD M3 E30 Cab with a chrome rollover bar in the Peterboro area . It looked quite cool. Not much help to you but only someone who has put a car on it's roof will appreciate what your asking......

I think that if it was done right it would look cool. i would like too see pics of that m3 cab with roll bar. I was thinking along the lines of something chrome too, I havent put a car on its roof so far "touch wood!" but its always possible when you start pushin it! I like the look of my cab e30 but it is in the back of my mind that if it does go "pair shaped" duckin aint gona be a option!

S'why I like my 320 Cab - it sounds gorgeous but not enough grunt to encourage you to do anything stupid.

Don't be stoopid.

The windscreen surround is strong enough to support the car if you do roll it (which has gotta be pretty difficult even on standard suspension).
