e30 convertible roll bar
Moderator: martauto
YHY WOULD YOU WANT TO FIT A ROLL BAR TO A CONVERTIBLE? It will look crap

only in the form of a wind deflector - but it won't do much if you roll it!

Just duck after you've rolled itROCKINRON wrote:Hi there has anyone fitted a roll bar or some sort of roll protection to an e30 convertible.
Ive seen a LHD M3 E30 Cab with a chrome rollover bar in the Peterboro area . It looked quite cool. Not much help to you but only someone who has put a car on it's roof will appreciate what your asking......
I think that if it was done right it would look cool. i would like too see pics of that m3 cab with roll bar. I was thinking along the lines of something chrome too, I havent put a car on its roof so far "touch wood!" but its always possible when you start pushin it! I like the look of my cab e30 but it is in the back of my mind that if it does go "pair shaped" duckin aint gona be a option!
Will keep an eye out for it next time I'm up that way, camera phone armed!ROCKINRON wrote:I think that if it was done right it would look cool. i would like too see pics of that m3 cab with roll bar. S'why I like my 320 Cab - it sounds gorgeous but not enough grunt to encourage you to do anything stupid.
