Dave do you mean chrome bolts?

Nav I'll try styledynamix as I also need to change the rims as they are 6.5j at the minute :(

Also i'm not very good at painting so i'll get someone else to do them for me then. Does anyone know any where in or near Leicester?

My splitties were already apart, I took the centre and main part + centre caps to Lepsons to be refurbed. The total price including two small extra repairs was just over Ԛ£260, I had the outer lips sorted and highly polished (not laquered) for Ԛ£60 through a mate of a mate etc.

No-one wanted to build them up though.

Chu, I'd go for chrome or silver bolts, whatever you can get your hands on. I did remember seeing a building-up guide on a VW forum somewhere!

If the wheels are 6,5" then the original ET is 33. They where also made in 7,5", ET being around 20-25 if I remember correctly. The whels in the pics look like 6,5".

I bought new outer rims and bolts for my RM 012 wheels from felgenfuchs @ German eBay. 2x2" and 2x3" lips plus full set of 7x24mm gold bolts were just under 500 Ԛ┚¬. Today you can get them a bit cheaper from other guys at eBay, there's quite a few sellers having them.

Bolt types are a few different i.e. the quality differs a little and head might be wider on some.

You can take them apart yourself and have everything powder coated. Installation is then more difficult, needing the adhesive (seal) and right tightening procedure with right nm. Also the contact points of the lips and the wheels (RM's are 2-pice so they're a bit easier than RS) should be plane and cleaned prior to assembly.

The wheels are 6,5" and ET is 33.

Spoke to powdercoaters today and they said the can only coat them in some nasty silver. I guess i'll have to go outa town!
