I know it sounds trivial but is it a possible option for a 325i sport? Cos now I'm wondering if my car is actually an SE !!
Maybe I'm just paranoid!

Had a Sport M Tech 1, battery in boot, all 325's I've had ditto. As far as I know all 325's apart from the Tourers & the Cabs have the battery in the back. All others it's up front unless anyone knows otherwise. The SE part of the spec of the car had nothing to do with the battery being in the back or the front,it's the engine size of the car.

Small things people miss when making an E30 into a sport lookalike..
Rear centre armrest
Headlamp wash wipe, if the wiper arms have been removed, the wiring/motors/stalk with S should still be there
Rear towing eye should have a fitment attatched to it to accept the screw in tow eye, cars that have had the kit fitted at a later date don't usually have this.
Black headlining
Shadowline, not chrome around the windows.
