In the past I've suffered with relatively new petrol hoses perishing after a couple years, but I have replaced them with what OEM manufacturer rubber.

But, I'm still reading about the impact of ethanol in petrol on old cars, so wondering if there is any additive people use in the tank to combat the degrading effects on rubber?

Nah, I just use V-power, minimal ethanol, it's what they should be running on anyway.

Agreed, I run my E46 on 97 octane and not the ethanol crap.

Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.
