ok so ive got this strip for the rear valence, how exactly does it fit ? wasnt one on when removed, is it like a seal between valance/bumper or valance/rear panel or what ? does it just sit over the very top of the valance before fitting ?

I brought that for my car and could not work out how to fit it ever. 6 years on and its still in the packet in the boot :mad:

someone must know, presume it was a bit that was lost or perished by the time/after the valance was removed for the 1st time

Polsta, I have no idea but it looks like a "rubber stop" of some sort, perhaps between the body and the rear valance....? Are you not able to figure out where it "might" go based on the shape....?

Alternatively contact BMW?

well of course, its there somewhere, just wondered exactly how it goes, il only be able to have a look when it comes to fitting the bumper and valance when i re build it all

Late to the party but the strip is for retrofitting M Tech 1 bumpers with non M Tech 1 rear rubber strips. This leaves an approximately 3mm gap that the strip fills in.
It's NLA though.
