Yes which bit do you want measuring? size of the opening or size of the outside of the boot? I have a facelift mooredoor if that helps

So my E46 is a 330i Sport with the factory lip spoiler. I think the 2-door should be the same, not sure about the cab.

Around the curve at the back the boot is 1160mm wide, 'across the flat' just in front of the spoiler is also 1160mm. The factory lip spoiler is 1155mm across the flat (fraction narrower than the boot) at the widest point.

The boot tapers towards the back so difficult to get an actual measurement as it all gets wider going forwards. I would say narrowest point it is 1150mm across the flat
