A good week for e30 spotting

Spring must have sprung, the e30’s around Derbyshire have come out to play!

Spotted a very clean looking red convertible on a drive on the outskirts of Derby on Friday whilst I was working.

Today the hard top came off the other half’s MX5 (excuse my flirtation with non e30’s!). We went to the Chatsworth Farm Shop and there was a lovely clean red 316i 2 door in the car park. Didn’t get to speak to the owner, was sad I didn’t have my chromie with me, but it was so good to see.

Roll on more good weather and clocking up some miles!

Ahh, Chatsworth farm shop, I have to get a Bloomers pork pie everytime I go there or Bakewell, the wife has to get a Bakewell tart and pudding as well, it's the law. Good job we don't live too close.

I can’t resist the Scotch eggs with the soft yolk tbh! Picked up a breast of lamb for £2.50, happy days!

Went up to The Motorist where there was a very very nice looking M3. Is this a Zone member ? It looks like a very rare right hand drive conversion. Also had a super looking M3 circuit car in the new cafe. [/attachment]

Parked between a Morgan and an immaculate 911 Super Sport original down to the Motorola phone on the centre console.
Enjoyable ride out - recommend it.

I spotted your E30 yesterday Trevor up at the Motorist, looking very good.

I had a ride up in my red SLK as its for sale so a bit of free advertising otherwise I would have been up in the E30 aswell. Kicking myself really as Ive been up a few times now and only ever been my E3O there when I've been.

This is the one 'restored' by Schmiedmann and then put right by BMR. He goes by Misano Redd on the Face Ache page but have not seen him here. He has had it a long time.

Nice E21 but if he want's it to look like an Alpina he needs to lose that bonnet badge! Depos and clear indicators don't do it any favours either but I guess he can see at night
